Artissima 2021 is composed by 4 sections displayed in the exhibition pavilion (Main Section, Dialogue/Monologue, New Entries, Art Spaces & Editions) and by
3 curated sections (Present Future, Back to the Future, Disegni) that will be hosted both virtually on the innovative Artissima XYZ digital platform and physically in a collective space at the fair’s venue.

FAIR SECTIONS
MAIN SECTION

250 € sq.mt.
The Main Section brings together outstanding galleries from the international art world: established names offer collectors and art lovers an event of the highest quality.
DIALOGUE/MONOLOGUE
?
220 € sq.mt.
Dialogue/Monologue is reserved to emerging galleries or galleries with an experimental approach applying with either a monographic booth or with a dialogue of works by 2 artists.
NEW ENTRIES
?
180 € sq.mt.
The New Entries section presents the most interesting emerging galleries from the international art scene, that have been open less than 5 years and taking part in Artissima for the first time.
ART SPACES & EDITIONS
?
220 € sq.mt.
Art Spaces & Editions is a special section of Artissima exclusively devoted to galleries and non-profit spaces presenting editions, prints and multiples by contemporary artists.

Present Future is reserved to emerging talents, preferably less than 40 years old. The artists will be selected on the basis of specific projects which will be presented by their reference galleries or research spaces.
BACK TO THE FUTURE

Back to the Future is the section of Artissima that presents monographic projects by great pioneers of contemporary art of the last century, who are still active today. The section hosts artworks realised starting from 1960 in dialogue with recent artworks, created in 2020.
DISEGNI
?
250 € sq.mt.
Disegni is the section of Artissima that presents monographic projects dedicated to the most contemporary experimentations with the practice of drawing, originally associated with paper and then radically evolved.

Artissima 2021 will explore the concept of FRENETIC STANDSTIL, examining its repercussions on the world of contemporary art. The theme of acceleration as opposed to inertia, and therefore of a necessary change of our paradigms, ignites the most recent debates. The true response to the crisis of our complex times is a profound and thorough form of evolution which might be conveyed precisely by art,
which has always borne witness to histories and civilizations in the past, while acting as a catalyst of the most innovative visions.

FAIR APPLICATION
The galleries which have participated in the Fair 2020 should follow STEP B and enter their own reserved area by using their 2020 access data.
Some forms will be already fulfilled; hence applying to Artissima 2021 will be easier and quicker. Each gallery will also be able to update its Gallery Profile (visible on artissima.art) until 31 May.
The galleries that have not participated in the Fair in 2020 or have participated exclusively in Artissima XYZ should follow STEP A.
