11 November 2015 Journal News

This is the first time for Rome’s Operativa Arte Contemporanea to participate at Artissima 2015. The gallery participates at the New Entry Section, and has brought a single artist, Matteo Nasini. The gallery was founded in 2013, and it focuses on the work of young, international creatives, under the guidance of Carlo Pratis. It is located at the very heart of the Eternal City, and it is also known for their many special projects in forms of installations, magazines and more. Operativa also offers limited edition prints. The visitors of the Operativa’s booth at Artissima 2015 have had an opportunity to enjoy beautiful artworks by amazing artist Matteo Nasini.

Operativa Presents Matteo Nasini

Operativa’s stand at Artissima 2015 is truly amazing – the name of the stand is Paesaggio Acre, so it’s pretty much about the landscape – different landscapes on the ground and on the wall. Beautiful artworks by Matteo Nasini are made of wool, ceramic, but it’s not all about the material – there’re beautiful sculptures on the ground that are sound sculptures. The amazing works on the wall reminds a bit on the art of famous Frank Stella, and Nasini is indeed inspired by this great artist. Operativa has had a lovely stand representing a magical landscape.
Widewalls senior editor, Ana.B.K. had an honor to speak with Carlo Pratis, so listen the interview and find out more about the gallery’s stand and Carlo’s impressions on Artissima 2015.
